Charlie Woods leaves a note for Justin Thomas in the bunker after JT’s bad tee shot, is already an A+ trash talker

Playing in the same group in the first round at the Ritz Carlton, JT hit a poor tee shot at the short par-4 13th hole—a dogleg left that necessitates a good draw from the back tees. JT found the bunker with his shot—and when he got to his ball, he found a handwritten note from his 11-year-old fellow competitor.

Charlie is electrifying early—hitting nearly every fairway in the first round. We even saw Tiger not even bother to hit a tee shot once Charlie got into a groove.

And at that same short par-4 13th hole, Charlie’s drive nearly made it up to the green. You know Charlie’s not done jawing with JT over the weekend, and we’re here for it all.
