Gary Woodland surprises Amy from Special Olympics Arizona 2019

During a practice round at the 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open, defending champion Gary Woodland asks Amy Bockerstette from Special Olympics Arizona to play the infamous 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale. Amy recently became the first collegiate golfer to compete with an intellectual disability such as Down Syndrome.

The Waste Management Phoenix Open is the Greatest Show on Grass. The tournament is held at TPC Scottsdale, near Phoenix, AZ. Phil Mickelson, Jon Rahm and defending champion Gary Woodland join the event in Arizona. In 2018, Gary Woodland beat Chez Reavie with a par on the first hole of a playoff on Sunday.
