Valspar Championship 2021 odds: Paul Casey has a chance to join elite group this week

The PGA Tour returns to Florida for a final time this season, as Innisbrook Resort’s Copperhead course will host the Valspar Championship, as it has since 2000. The field is one of the best in Valspar history, with 10 of the top 30 players in the world teeing it up, highlighted at the top by 2021 Players winner Justin Thomas and 2020 Masters champion Dustin Johnson.

DJ has played here just three times before, with a T-6 finish in 2019 (the last event conducted here, as the 2020 edition was canceled due to COVID-19). Thomas also has three appearances with his best finish being a T-10 in 2015. He missed the cut in his last time here (2017).

The field also includes Paul Casey (22-1), who won the last two Valspar Championships (2019 and 2018). He’ll look to become the first player on the PGA Tour since Steve Stricker at the John Deere Classic to win an event three consecutive times.

Here are the complete list of odds for the players in the 2021 Valspar Championship field.

(Odds courtesy of William Hill, as of Monday afternoon):

Rafa Cabrera Bello: 150-1

Kristoffer Ventura: 150-1
