The Charles Schwab Challenge returns to its usual spot on the PGA TOUR calendar and features a strong field led by 2017 FedExCup champion Justin Thomas. The American is hoping to bounce back after missing the cut by a shot at the PGA Championship and will be aiming to build on his T10 finish at Colonial Country Club last year. 2020 champion Daniel Berger is back to defend his title after winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am earlier this year. Both of the 36-hole leaders at the PGA Championship – Louis Oosthuizen and Phil Mickelson – are set to tee it up. After winning the title in 2000 and 2008, Mickelson will be hoping his form will lead to a third victory in Fort Worth. Other past winners in the field include Sergio Garcia, Zach Johnson, Kevin Kisner, and Justin Rose, who won in 2018 (his FedExCup-winning season).
