How to watch the 2021 Olympic women’s golf tournament on television

The successful return of golf to the Olympics at the 2016 Rio Games brought with it an anticipation for more in 2020. And while players and fans have had to wait an additional year for the Tokyo Games to be held, the wait ends this week. The men’s tournament begins on Wednesday evening U.S. time (Thursday in Japan) at Kasumigaseki Country Club, located about 35 miles northwest of downtown Tokyo.

Because of the 13-hour time change between East Coast and Japan time, watching the tournament live will be an all-night affair. For those willing to sacrifice the sleep, the reward is worth it as Golf Channel will broadcast 8½ hours of live coverage during the first three rounds, then nine hours of the final round, including the medal ceremony.

Below is the complete viewer’s guide for the action, including re-air times for round that are shown live overnight.
